00:00:00: And now let's have a look at the next machine here, The VDMA Crushing Zone.
00:00:04: Next one is from Comtec brought to this demonstration.
00:00:10: and what application do we see?
00:00:12: Tell us about it!
00:00:14: Here you can see the new NEMA Screening pre-shredded C&D Waste.
00:00:19: The NEMA's three thousand is respected by customers around the world for its tough construction high reliability & wide range of applications.
00:00:29: biomass, compost earth minerals.
00:00:33: And what kind of drive system is used here in the Nemus?
00:00:36: The machine is powered by a Perkins industry diesel engine, and all operations are driven by a robust hydraulic system.
00:00:45: In all configurations the diesel engine has power output of fifty-five kilowatts.
00:00:50: It should be noted that the fifty five kilowatt engine requires no add blue As further drive option.
00:00:58: the semi trailer and trailer mobile nemes machines can also had as hybrid version.
00:01:04: In this configuration, all operations are driven electrically via a generator which is powered either autonomously by the onboard diesel engine or externally via a one hundred and twenty-five power feet.
00:01:18: This hybrid arrangement offers high independence improved energy efficiency and maximum availability under widely varying operating
00:01:27: conditions.".
00:01:28: And what makes these kind of machines stand out?
00:01:33: we have here in the background.
00:01:48: Semi-trailer.
00:01:49: The screen drum is five point five meters long and two metres in diameter, And the conveyors have a discharge height of three point five metres.
00:01:58: There are a few special features of the Nemus.
00:02:01: Like its predecessor ,the Nemus has a hydraulically opening sidewall for easy and above all safe Drum exchanges.
00:02:10: .The integral straight run control For pulled hopper conveyor minimizes wear Clean working thanks to the PU scrapers on the collecting and cross conveyor.
00:02:20: drum grip drive for quiet, low vibration operation.
00:02:25: The discharge conveyors have stepless slope adjustment For optimum adaptation to different material streams and operating conditions.
00:02:33: the symmetrical hopper design permits loading from both sides.
00:02:37: For customers who already have screen drums using a drive system from a competitor, the NIMUS SIX-TWENTY is an ideal solution as it can use those screen drums without any modification.
00:03:01: The machine shown here is configured for use with pre-shredded C&D waste and is fitted with a fifteen by six QV screen drum!
00:03:10: So thanks to Comtech for their NIMUZ information – let's go just a couple of meters into our next station….
00:03:18: And now let's have a closer look in the crushing zone to the WIMA-HDSM working together with Comtech.
00:03:25: So this is where the screened material ends up next.
00:03:29: and what´s happening here?
00:03:31: Exactly!
00:03:32: In the HDSM we separate the fifteen to forty five millimetre fraction into light & heavy material.
00:03:40: HDS stands for Hydro Density Separator, A water based separation process.
00:03:46: The key component is the freely adjustable propeller.
00:03:50: And what happens inside the machine?
00:03:52: Can you explain a little bit and can you walk us through the process?
00:03:57: Yes, the material is first screened to remove fines below fifteen millimeters.
00:04:03: It is then continuously fed via a chute into the separation chamber.
00:04:08: together with process water Inside the chamber, the propeller generates an upward water flow.
00:04:15: This flow separates the material.
00:04:17: Light components are carried with overflow into drum while heavy fraction settles at bottom.
00:04:24: So just to understand there is no additional screening step in drums?
00:04:28: Correct!
00:04:29: The drum is used purely for dewatering the light fraction.
00:04:58: over a weir to the propeller, creating a closed water loop.
00:05:02: And what happens with the heavy fraction?
00:05:05: The heavy material settles in separation chamber and is discharged from finer.
00:05:14: heavy particles are removed from the settling zone by a secondary screw.
00:05:19: In addition, part of the processed water is routed over a screen to remove floating contaminants such as wood.
00:05:27: The water collected beneath this green is then pumped back into the system.
00:05:31: So you're processing C and D waste actual here?
00:05:34: What other applications could be typical?
00:05:37: The HDS series can be used for a wide range of materials including construction and demolition waste, compost oversize fractions shredded root wood and similar feed materials.
00:05:50: So thanks.
00:05:50: at the moment more than about this add their booth now let's carry on with our last machine!
